Syllabus (According to CAR-66)

In order to harmonizeIndian requirements for Licensing of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, with International requirements, CAR-66 Rev. 0 Dtd. 11-Nov-2011 which is primarily based on EASA Pt. 66 regulation is being introduced which is issued on the basis of amended rule 61 (6th amendment) of the Aircraft Rules 1937 notified vide GSR 1001 (E) Dtd. 22-Dec-2010. This CAR-66 is effective from 01-Jan-2012 and applicable to all personnel/ organization engaged its Maintenance and/ or certification of aircraft registered in India. Syllabus for AME Basic knowledge exam is framed as per module wise are give below:
